Longview — A dedication ceremony to name the Gerard Cace Kitchen at the Maude Cobb Convention and Activity Center is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Friday at the center, 100 Grand Blvd.

Cace, a renowned restauranteur and community leader, was co-owner of Johnny Cace’s Seafood and Steakhouse. He died July 19 while on a fishing trip at the age of 59.
