The Caldwell Zoo in Tyler is offering a very unique homeschool opportunity.

It's for students ages four to 16-years-old.

The folks with the Caldwell Zoo tell KETK, it gives the children hands-on experiences with biology, wildlife and animal science.

And, it gets them out of the house to meet new friends.

If this is something you're interested in--- you'd better hurry.

Here's more information from the zoo:

All classes meet from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Zoo Teachers will meet parents and students at the zoo's bus parking lot (on Gentry Parkway, right next to the Sonic Drive-in). Gates will open at 1:15 p.m. and close at 1:40 p.m. Please be on time. Gates will reopen at 3:20 p.m. for pick-up.

Advance registration and payment is required. We are not able to accept registrations by phone. You can either drop off your registration at the zoo's front entry or mail it to:
