Longview — A man flagged down a Longview police officer Wednesday saying he was running for his life from a prostitute and her pimp.

The man, identified in the arrest affidavit as Joseph, told police that the pair assaulted him when he didn’t have the $2,000 he’d promised to pay for sex with the woman.
