Longview, TX — A General Election for City of Longview City Council Districts 1, 2, and Mayor will be held on Saturday, May 12. Candidates may file an application for a place on the ballot between February 6, and March 5, 2012. The last day for a regular write-in candidate to declare candidacy for the General Election is March 5, 2012. Candidates may file during normal office hours at the City of Longview City Secretary’s office, located at City Hall, 300 W. Cotton St.
