Those were 19-year-old Jacob Woodard’s words to Lufkin Police Det. Ron Stubblefield in questioning about Feb. 7 — the night he is alleged to have fatally shot 26-year-old Robert Darnell Bennett in the heart during a failed robbery attempt.
