Carthage — Carthage ISD Superintendent Glenn Hambrick has been named the regional superintendent of the year, officials with the Region 7 Education Service Center announced Monday morning.

Hambrick will represent Region 7 as its nominee for the 2012 Texas Association of School Boards state Superintendent of the Year.
