On Tuesday, September 25, 2012 Upshur County Sheriff Office Investigator’s arrested Nathan Eric Richardson on Wild Onion Rd. Ore City, TX for Aggravated Robbery and two counts of Felon in Possession of a firearm.

Around 3:00 p.m. Upshur County Sheriff Office responded to Catfish Village on Hwy 155 North in references to an Aggravated Robbery that just occurred.

Deputy’s obtained a description of the suspect as well as a description of the vehicle the suspect left in.

Store manager reported to deputy’s that the suspect entered the store demanding money and displayed a weapon.

A short time later Investigator’s David Cruce and Chris Clark located a vehicle matching the description of the one the suspect left in at a residence on Wild Onion Rd.

Investigator’s made contact with the home owner who matched the suspect description.

Investigator Chris McCauley also responded to the scene to assist in the Investigation.

During their investigation evidence was obtained that connected Richardson to the robbery.

Investigators arrested Richardson for Aggravated Robbery and two counts of Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

Richardson was transported to the Upshur County Jail where he was booked in on said charges.

Justice of the Peace Pct. #2 Judge Lyle Potter arraigned Richardson and set his bonds at $75,000 on the Aggravated Robbery and $10,000 a piece on the two Felon in Possession of a Firearm charges.

The case is still under investigation and is being handled by lead Investigator Chris McCauley.
