WASHINGTON — The mayor of Washington, D.C. and a former Minnesota governor have weighed in on the Chick-Fil-A flap.
Protesters demonstrated near a mobile Chick-fil-a lunch truck on Thursday in Washington.
The company's CEO does not support same-sex marriage.
D.C. mayor Vincent Gray said he does not support "hate chicken" in his city.
Governor Tim Pawlenty said officials threatening a business for having a different political opinion is "chilling and jaw-dropping."
The mayors of Chicago, San Francisco and Boston have talked about denying business permits to open Chick-fil-a restaurants.
