SMITH COUNTY — A child nearly drowned in a swimming pool Wednesday evening, according to our news partners, KTBB.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. at The Villages Resorts in Flint.

The child was reportedly pulled out of the pool, and taken to a local hospital.

The condition of the child is unknown at this time.
