Chinese Flag Flying next to American Flag

WASHINGTON, D.C. - A 60th anniversary celebration of the People's Republic of China kicks off in D.C. with a display some might find upsetting.
China's flag being raised alongside the American flag to mark the country's 60th anniversary as a Communist country.
The two stand side-by-side in a park just South of the White House.
As you can imagine, this move is causing quite a stir.
So what did East Texans think about the display?
We asked you to sound off, East Texas.
Who cares go to the store everything is made in china, I have two chines and one korea student living in my home and going to the ELI, I fly an American flag, why not a flag for China and Koea this is my home and my right, I believe china bought at lest half of our debt. Think about it stop the imports from china see what happens.

2 months agoWAKE UP KENNY...A CLUMSY ACCIDENT?...LETS ALL COUNT OFF HOW MANY "CLUMSY ACCIDENTS" THIS WORTHLESS PRESIDENT AND HIS ADMINISTRATION HAS HAD AND DONE ALREADY IN JUST 8 SHORT MONTHS.WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN IS WE SHOULD GET SOME SERVICE MEN AND WOMEN TO GO TAKE THAT FLAG DOWN POLE AND ALL AND BURN IT ON OBAMA'S LAWN...OTHER COUNTRIES BURN OUR FLAG AND IT SEEMS TO BE NO BIG DEAL TO ALOT OF PEOPLE,SO LET'S RETURN THE FAVOR.....................I HOPE ONE OF THESE CLUMSY ACCIDENTS THAT OBAMA AND HIS BROOD MAKES, DOESN'T TOTALLY DESTROY OUR COUNTRY MORE.......

2 months agoFirst of all, the Chineses flag should not be flying there at all. It seems that our President and some of our people are embracing communism more and more. God have mercy on us all.

2 months agoWhat's the hold up? Why hasn't somebody taken the thing down. Our country keeps giving America and all that it stands for away a chunk at a time. We only need one flag flying in the USA. It is OK for a state flag to fly in their state or at special events in another state. This country was established under one flag and under God. Why don't people wake up and let's go back to our roots.

3 months agoWe shouldn't be surprised, really. Our President seems to want to take us down the same road China frequents. Unfortunately we are so beholden to China for buying our debt that maybe the president is trying to throw them a bone.
Nah, he just idolizes their ideology.

3 months agomaybe when china is no longer a comunist nation,but a free republc,i wont have a problem with this.the chinese are a wonderfull people. their government is hidious!the ones responsible for this display should be ashamed! but they should be ashamed for many other events they are trying to slip under uor noses.
