Longview Ranger will play in Round Rock

Arlington — The Rangers have sent Chris Davis to Triple-A Round Rock.

The slugger from Longview will start the season with the Round Rock Express.

The East Texas had a tremendous spring training in Arizona but the Rangers could not find a spot for him on the Major League roster.
