Christmas in July in Tyler
July 11, 2009 - 6:12pm
TYLER - The annual Christmas in July charity event was going on Saturday in Tyler. The event is meant to help revitalize North Tyler and help people struggling in the tough economic times.
Several area churches and lots of volunteers came together to help make the event a success.
There were free breast cancer screenings, groceries, clothing, school supplies and much more available for those who came out.
Pastor David Houston tells us they were able to help hundreds of people today.
Pastor Houston says they plan to continue to hold the event next year and offer even more free services and goods.
