HENDERSON - An old time chuck wagon stampede was going on in East Texas today.

This was the scene earlier today at the Bar None Cowboy's Church near Henderson.

There were free hay rides, chuck wagon races, wagon wheel races, and of course lots of good eating!

The race finale and a church service will be held Sunday.

I enjoyed the clips about the cowboy church wish there would have been more. I live in Cedar Crest, NM near Albuquerque. I visit often in Henderson, TX. I have two sons and a Mother that live there.
My son Jason Taylor is the Preacher at the Bar None Cowboy Church and his brother Dale Taylor is the Youth Pastor. I am a very proud Mama. Someday soon hope to move to the Henderson area.
