A church safety seminar will be held this Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Gladewater.

It will be held by the church and the Gladewater Police Department

Police Chief Farrell Alexander says, it's important for church staff to develop a safety plan to create procedures and responsibilities in case of instances such as child predators in the church, shootings or other violent actions, on church property.
