Church to hold Blessing of Animals

Henderson, TX — St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church will hold its annual Blessing of the Animals, officiated by Rev. Patsy Barham, at 2 p.m. Sunday in honor of St. Francis of Assisi.
The interdenominational event is free and open to all people and animals.

How absolutely ludicrous - First, this so-called-church has a female Preacher. No such examples in the bible. Then this stupid woman proposes to BLESS THE ANIMALS. Where does she get those practices from? The word bless, infers happiness or bliss bestowed upon. Were these animals happy or blissful after being, so called, Blessed.
