Nearly 100 women gathered today to share some personal stories at Oak Grove Bible Church in Bullard.

"The Circle of Prayer Conference" focuses on faith and friendship --- something this organization has done for the past six years.

From a traumatic car accident to a history of drugs and prostitution, every woman at the Circle of Prayer Conference has a story.

"Everyone has a story to tell and everyone has a different situation in life," said Patti Foster.

These women came together to share of how God has impacted their life. It was a safe place for these ladies to come, pray, share, and leave feeling good about themselves.

"they come to encourage, but they also come to be encouraged," said conference organizer Lou Ann Taylor. "Sisters need sisters, we need our sister girls."

Lou Ann Taylor is a director at Oak Grove and she is the one who put the conference together.

"God laid this on my heart years and years ago to start a women's conference," Taylor said.

In six years the event has more than tripled in size.

Attendees say it is because there is no other event like it that focuses solely on women.

Patti Foster has attended the conference every year and spends her life inspiring others.

"I believe in seizing the opportunity," Foster said. "That moment, that breath, that thought, that impact to make a difference now."
