City gives go-ahead to refinance existing bonds
Parker says city would save about $844,000
Lufkin — The Lufkin Daily News reports; Some 2011 General Obligation Bonds could soon get refinancing. A move city manager: Paul Parker says would save the city hundreds of thousands of dollars.
The vote for the second reading came at Tuesday's city council meeting. Lufkin Mayor: Jack Gordon echoed Parker's thoughts saying this move will save the city a bunch of money.
