Longview's Mayor Jay Dean wants your input.

The City of Longview is considering a bond election to fund some of the city's improvements, but that may mean a tax increase.

City officials say that the improvements are needed, but they have set up an online survey to get opinions from longview businesses and residents.

i'M SURE THEY CAN FIND THE MONEY SOMEWHERE...LIKE THE HALF MILLION DOLLAR FIRE TRUCK THEY JUST SOMEHOW LOCATED THE FUNDS FOR....ANYTHING FOR THE HEROES OF THE WORLD WHICH IS POLICE AND FIREFIGHTERS...THE REST OF THE CITY EMPLOYEES GET NOTHING,BUT YET THEY BUILD MORE PARKS,TRAILS,PUT STUPID MEDIANS DOWN THE LOOP AND CLAIM TO HAVE FEWER WRECKS ON THE LOOP...WELL DUH...PEOPLE AVOID THE LOOP LIKE THE PLAGUE SO THEREFORE LESS TRAFFIC LESS WRECKS AS ANYONE WITH ANY SENSE CAN FIGURE OUT!!!!
