The City of Tyler marked the opening of a compressed natural gas station (CNG) this morning with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

The event took place at 11 a.m. on the 200 block of E. Oakwood Street.

The station is part of a city effort to convert a portion of their fleet to CNG in support of the growing natural gas industry.
