Cleanup after East Texas storm damages 100 homes
EDOM, Texas (AP) — Thunderstorms that spawned tornadoes in parts of Texas and injured at least one person have left thousands of people without power.
Oncor early Wednesday reported more than 6,700 homes and businesses did not have electricity.
The utility says most of the outages were in East Texas, where a suspected tornado roared through the town of Edom about 75 miles east of Dallas.
Investigators say one woman was injured when her mobile home was rolled during Tuesday's storms.
Power lines were down throughout rural areas of East Texas.
