College graduates begin job search
Tyler, TX — This weekend universities across the nation are holding spring commencement ceremonies for their new graduates, which means the applicant pool for many employers just got much deeper.
In today's economy finding a job can be difficult, but even though the competition is stiff, there are some ways you can make your resume stand out. Brenda Balch from Snelling Staffing tells KETK to include "those accomplishments and jobs, awards, or honors because they show you've both gone to school and worked.
Although these college graduates are finished with school, that does not mean their days of studying are over. Balch explains, "they need to study some about how to find a job. They to need to think about what they want to do and think through questions that might be asked." Balch also recommends graduates to utilize social media in order to help their job search.
