COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) - College Station police are seeking a male suspect after a woman was discovered dead and her 9-year-old son was found hurt at their residence.

Police are investigating the death of 29-year-old Jennifer Marie Hailey as a possible homicide. Police did not say how she died. A police statement says officers who were dispatched to the home discovered the victims around 5 a.m. Monday.

The boy was transported to College Station Medical Center and was undergoing surgery. Details on his injuries were not available. His name was not immediately released. Officer Rhonda Seaton says police do not know the identity of the man being sought.
