All these car fires don't have to happen. It is the electric fuel pumps that keep pumping gasoline after a crash even though the engine is stopped and motor-mounts are broken which ruptures solid fuel lines. The pump is supposed to stop by an inirtia switch but these switches hardly work. It would cost very little to make cars much less a fire risk.
