Cass County Commissioners held a special meeting Monday morning in which they entered into to an executive session to discuss hiring an attorney to provide legal counsel.

Commissioners’ court agreed to hire attorney Robert Davis to provide legal council to review the existing terms of the contract with RBR Construction Company.

Precinct 3 Commissioner Paul Cothren said after the meeting, “We secured Attorney Robert Davis of Flowers Davis PLLC, Tyler, to review the terms of the county's contract with RBR and provide us with counsel. We await Mr. Davis' review to share additional information.”
