Community Garden is ready for the public in Jacksonville

For seven years, Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Jacksonville has been holding a community garden, where people in the are can plant, water, and pick produce as long as the make a donation to one of the many local charities.

It is a chance for people to grow food for their families and others in their neighborhoods.

The garden is located on 1023 Corinth Rd in Jacksonville, behind the main office building at the church.

Organizers say everyone is welcome at anytime, and they are pleased to see, not only the patch of Earth grow, but al the number of those participating year after year.
