Congressman Gohmert Brings Healthcare Bill to East Texas
November 1, 2009 - 8:48pm
TYLER - Congressman Louie Gohmert's office printed and delivered two hard copies of speaker Pelosi's 1,990 page healthcare bill to the Tyler Public Library.
He says it's to ensure that as many citizens as possible have access to the text and can see for themselves what is buried in the mountain of legislation.
He says the bill will quote "raise taxes, raise health care costs, and add to our national debt"
The Tyler Library is open from seven to ten Monday through Friday and ten to five on weekends.
The health bill is also available at the Longview and Marshall libraries.
