Cops and Cuffs

1) Tyler Police say two workers at a nail salon near the intersection of Fifth and Fleishel got in a fight that turned dangerous Saturday morning.

Police say one worker was discussing something with the manager when things got out of hand, and one person got out a cutting tool and cut the other one.

Both were taken to the hospital, and police are now investigating what charges will be filed.

2) Tyler Police say a suspect is being charged with injury to an elderly person after allegedly punching his 80 year-old grandfather and throwing him to the ground Friday morning on South Beckham.

The man suffered minor injuries and was treated on scene.
