Cops and Cuffs: September 26, 2009

LUFKIN - Lufkin police are investigating a man who was attacked at a club.
It happened last night in the 800 block of Keltys Street.
The victim says a man came up to him with a gun, demanded money, and then pistol whipped the man until he was unconscious.
When the victim came to, the subject was gone, and so was some money he had in his pants.
LUFKIN - Lufkin police say a driver had something thrown into their windshield while they were going over the Moffett and Medford overpass.
This is the second call officers have gotten about things being thrown at drivers from the tracks below.
LUFKIN - Lufkin police arrest a man after he tries to rob a man, but ends up getting beat up by his would be victim.
It happened on the 700 block of Humason Road.
Police say the attacker had a knife and wanted to fight the victim and kicked in the door.
That's when the man in the house grabbed a metal pipe, and hit him, forcing him to run away.
Officers later found the man, who had a deep cut on his arm.
Charges are pending.
