Cops and Cuffs: Two aggravated assaults in Tyler

TYLER - Tyler police arrest a man early this morning after he allegedly pulled out a gun and shot at another man, after getting into an argument over a parking space.

It happened just after midnight in the 500 block of North Border.

Ojeas Medina was taken into custody. Officers discovered several shell casings and a loaded handgun at the scene.

Medina is charged with aggravated assault.

TYLER - Tyler police have arrested the man accused of shooting a gun at a car full of people including a 5 and 6 year old child.

According to police reports, the shooting happened around 5:30 in the Green Acres Shopping Center in Tyler.

Eric Raymundo Montoya was arrested late last night at the gas station at Kinsey Drive and Loop 323.

He was booked into the Smith County Jail with a 500,000 dollar bond.
