In last week’s election review, some results were overlooked in the Precinct 3 and 4 Constable’s race.

Incumbent Gary Dixon retained his seat as Pct. 3 Constable with 1,106 votes. He defeated Tony Ingram who received 510 votes.

Also, newcomer Scott Price was elected to the constable’s office in Pct 4. Price received 712 votes defeating opponent Rick Henson who claimed 312 votes. Henson had suspended his campaign in April but missed the deadline to withdraw from the primary.

The Democrat apologizes for the error and is happy to set the record straight.
