Van Zandt County Commissioners met in regular session May 8 and took time to recognize and commend both the volunteer contributions and the county employee efforts to improve the lives of the county’s citizens.

The courtroom gallery was full and standing room only for presentations by the East Texas Crisis Center, the County Historical Commission, Chair of the County Data Advisory Board and the County Tax Assessor – all speaking on issues of concern.
