Multi-million dollar ruling comes from discrimation suit

Lufkin — The Lufkin Daily News reports; The Fifth Circuit United States Court of Appeals ruled Monday, that employees of Lufkin Industries involved in a multi-million dollar employment discrimination suit should get that payout.

The suit was originally filed back in 1997 by two men alleging racial discrimination from the company’s hiring practices and workplace behaviors.
