SMITH COUNTY-Smith County Sheriff's need your help identifying three people caught on tape defacing the Smith County Courthouse.

The Smith County Courthouse is in the process of getting repaired. Officials tells us the courthouse is getting new bullet proof windows and a through scrub down. But this beautification was cut short, thanks to three culprits.

Officials tell us in the wee-morning of July 8th, three people were caught on surveillance spraying graffiti on the east wall of the courthouse.

Since then the mess has been cleaned up, but police are still looking for the three people.

Police believe there were two white males and one white female involved. Officials say one of the males is believed to be heavy set with light hair. The other male is believed to have a slender build with dark hair. The girl involved is also believed to have a slender build with dark hair.

Officials say they were driving a small, red passenger car.

County officials tell us they are working tirelessly to try and catch them.

"When they damage a courthouse they damage the people's courthouse," Smith County Judge Joel Baker said. "It belongs to the citizens of this county and we want to make sure they are prosecuted."
