Several times a year the Baptist Missionary Association of America comes together to rebuild a church.

It is something no one asked them to do. They do it -- because they love it.

"To see all these folks come together," said Brother David Smith, Associate Pastor at Craft Baptist Church. "And blend their work and blend their hearts together to get something done just gets me excited because there's good people in the world."

For two weeks,18 couples from all over America will work at Craft Baptist to build them a new worship center.

"God has blessed us," Brother Smith said.

The average age of these volunteers is 74 and the majority are retired. Working hard -- not for themselves, but for others.

"That sweetness, or kindness, it comes from the love of god," Brother Smith said. "It started at the cross and we've accepted that and as a result we're able to share it with others."

It is a chance for these couples to spend time together, giving back.

"We get couples that will join just because they see the fellowship that we have," said Carol Sikes. "And the love we have for each other, it's a good time."
