2 arrested in ETX drug bust
Nacogdoches, Texas (KETK) — The Nacogdoches County Sheriff Office has arrested two men in connection with two separate on-going drug investigations.
Damion Yarbrough, 32, and Rhonald Palmer, 43, were arrested at two different locations, Tuesday afternoon.
Officials had on-going investigations to identify key distributors of narcotics in Nacogdoches County. As a result of those investigations, the sheriff's office seized a large amount of methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana in the past several months.
Deputies conducted a search warrant in the 3000 block of FM 2259. Investigators had probable cause for a search warrant on a home after gathering information that a large amount of narcotics was being stored and sold from the home.
Upon execution of the search warrant, deputies found 375 grams of cocaine, five pounds of marijuana, digital scales, plastic baggies and three pistols inside the suspect’s bedroom.
Yarbrough was the primary suspect in the first investigation and was arrested at the scene. Yarbrough was charged with Manufacturing or Delivery of a controlled substance Felony 1st degree and Possession of marijuana a state jail felony.
Investigators also searched another home in the Appleby area, Tuesday afternoon. Consent was granted to search the home after receiving information of methamphetamine being at the home. A search led to the seizure of five grams of crystal meth and Xanax.
Palmer was arrested at the scene for two counts of possession of a controlled substance, a 2nd felony and state jail felony.
