Grand Saline, Texas (KETK) — Two East Texans have been arrested after crystal meth discovery led to the finding of a pipe bomb.
On Thursday, Van Zandt County Precinct 1 Constable Mickey Henson as assisting the Van Zandt County Fire Marshal's Office in the investigation of an illegal landfill and saw a suspicious vehicle on Van Zandt County Road 1701. Henson and Deputy Danny Wilson identified William "Willie" Neal Adams, Jr., 24, of Grand Saline and Timothy Steven Bolt, 44, of Mineola, near the car.
After searching their vehicle, officials found a crystal like substance they believed to be crystal meth. After being placed under arrest, one of the suspects led authorities to a home in the 2700 block of VZCR 1701, just east of Grand Saline.
When deputies searched the home, they discovered additional contraband and a device believed to be a pipe bomb.
