2 ETX men arrested after traffic stop reveals drugs
Trinity, Texas (KETK) — Two East Texas men are behind bars after a traffic stop revealed they were in the possession of drugs.
Around 5:00 a.m., Monday morning, following a traffic stop near the intersection of Caroline and Robb Street, an officer with the Trinity Police Department arrested Ricky Perez and Marcus Simmons.
Perez was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance (Xanax) in a drug free zone and Simmons was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana in a drug free zone.
Perez is currently in jail with a $10,000 bond and Simmons bonded out with a $5,000 bond.
