Lufkin police have arrested three young people for allegedly burglarizing a house and a business last month.

On Tuesday, at 8:00 p.m., investigators arrested Manuel A. Arroyo, 21, Abram Quiroz, 17, and Juan Roque, 17, all of Lufkin, for engaging in organized criminal activity. Authorities obtained the arrest warrant after linking all three suspects, plus a fourth still on the loose, to several burglaries. Bond is set at $100,000 each.

The three young men, along with Marisol Briones Zuniga, 17, who has not been caught, are accused of burglarizing the Lufkin Army Navy Store on November 24 and a home in the 500 block of North Warren Street on or about November 30.

Authorities continue to search for Zuniga. If you have any information on this case or his whereabouts, please contact the Lufkin CrimeStoppers at (936) 639-8477.

I'm so fed up with people stealing instead of working!!! I've notice in Tyler and Lindale several stores that need workers, yet some people had rather beg or steal; I've had it. I worked for $14.90 a week when I was 16 and through out high school. I raised four children who work for a living; I now work making a very small salary, but I've never had to beg nor steal to be able to have a place to live and food on my table. I'm tired of some thinking they can take what others have worked for.
