White Oak, Texas (KETK) — Four Gregg County residents are now calling jail their home after being arrested for allegedly stealing cars.
On Friday, December 20, White Oak officers arrested Robert Barber of White Oak for being in possession of a 2004 Dodge truck that was reported stolen from Excel Motors on Highway 259 on December 17th.
Gregg County Investigator Cecil Shelton and White Oak Sergeant Farris Ellis continued the investigation after Barber’s arrest.
Shelton and Ellis located Cameron Spears on Bob O Link Road in Upshur County as a result of that investigation. Spears was found to be in possession of three stolen vehicles and other stolen property from Gregg County, White Oak, Longview and Upshur County. A female, Precious Pulley, who was with Spears, had warrants out of Nacogdoches. Both were arrested and transported to the Upshur County Jail.
As the investigation continued late into Friday evening, Shelton and Ellis assisted in the arrest of Bert Jackson III of White Oak, who was also in possession of stolen property.
As a result of the efforts of Shelton and Ellis, leads have also been developed in the burglary of Longview Wheel and Performance in Longview as well as a burglary and theft at an Upshur County Precinct barn.
