4 arrested in Rusk Co. meth ring, 2 repeat offenders
Henderson, Tx (KETK) — Four people were arrested last week in Rusk County for alleged drug trafficking. Two of the accused were busted last November on similar charges.
On March 6th, law enforcement with the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office, Henderson Police Department, Overton Police Department, Rusk County District Attorney’s Office and the East Texas Violent Crimes Squad of the Texoma High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area assembled at the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office and conducted an arrest warrant sweep.
During the sweep, Terry Nathan Tidwell, Ysidro Yanez, Christopher White and Angela Denison were arrested for the offense of conspiracy/possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Also, arrested on a state charge of abandoning/endangering a child warrant was Jessica Page.
Two of the people taken into custody, Ysidro Yanez and Terry Tidwell, were arraigned November 7, 2013, for manufacturing and delivery of controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
The federal charges are a result of Federal Grand Jury indictments in connection with a 15 month investigation into the organized distribution of methamphetamine in Rusk County. The four individuals arrested on federal warrants were taken to Tyler and released into the custody of the Federal Marshals, while Jessica Page was confined to the Rusk County Jail and held on $7,500 bond.
Tidwell, 33, of Henderson and Yanez, 55, of Overton, are being held in the Gregg County jail on a U.S. Marshal detainer. No bond is set.
