Arrest announcement expected to be made connected to death of Alfred Wright

According to a press release from the United States Attorney's Office, a press conference has been set to announce auhtorities have indicted a person in connection with the death of East Texan, Alfred Wright, 28.

At 10:00 a.m., Friday, officials in Beaumont will announce the arrest and indictment involved in alleged drug trades that resulted in the death of Wright.

According to 12News in Beaumont, Wright's was found Monday, November 25, 2013, near Highway 87 and Coussans Road, the location where he was last known to be.

Since Wright disappeared on November 7, 2013, authorities, including a private investigator, have scoured the area for any clues as to where he could have gone. When the father of three was last heard from, he was reportedly have trouble with his truck and had stopped in rural area off Highway 87 near Hemphill.

Alfred was last spotted at the CL&M Grocery at 4650 Highway 87 South in Hemphill.
