Paris, Texas (KETK) — Authorities are warning the public to be aware of man passing fake $20 bills in East Texas.
According to the Paris Police Department, they have received two separate reports of purchases made at local businesses with counterfeit money. Both times the man used counterfeit $20 bills. A total of three bills have been passed so far.
The man is described as a black male wearing a white t-shirt and black baggy shorts. He is believed to be around 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 190 pounds and has short hair.
