Lawrence Charles Murphy, Jr., 20,  is a suspect in the homicide that occurred at the American Inn at 1800 West Erwin, Tyler, Texas. A warrant charging Murphy Jr. with Murder has been signed by Judge Jack Skeen. Bond on the warrant is set at $1,000,000. Murphy Jr. is approximately 5’08” tall and weighs around 170.

He has access to a 1989 Chevrolet Caprice bearing Texas license plate CX3G877.

Since a firearm was used, Murphy Jr. is considered to be armed and extremely dangerous. Anyone with information concerning this case or the whereabouts of Murphy Jr. is urged to contact Crimestoppers at (903)597-2833 or Tyler Police at (903)531-1000.

Attached is a photo of the suspect. The investigation continues to determine the identities of the other persons in the room when the incident occurred.

The good riddance factor comes in to play. Drug dealer dead and now a bunch of hoodlums on the lam. All will go to jail on capitol murder warrants. Good riddance.
