Waco police arrested a man after he reportedly stole male enhancement products from a local drugstore.

Tuesday afternoon, around 2:00 p.m., officers responded to Drug Emporium, located at 5900 Bosque Drive on reports of a man, now identified as Michael Wayne Williams, 59,  who was observed shoplifting male enhancement products and attempted to leave the store.

Drug Emporium employees attempted to stop Williams as he left, and Williams pushed both of the employees out of the way while fleeing the store. This contact knocked a female employee to the ground, injuring her knee.

The store manager notified police and followed Williams, who fled east on Bosque Drive.

Responding officers were able to apprehend Williams at the intersection of Bosque and Wooded Acres, where he was taken into custody.

Williams has now been charged with robbery in reference to this case.
