CUSHING CRIME COUPLE: Duo arrested after drugs, weapons found inside home
Cushing, Texas (KETK) — The Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office has arrested a Cushing couple after finding methamphetamine and weapons inside their home.
Jennifer Woodbury,32, and James Wurm, 39, were both arrested for possession of a controlled substance, a second degree felony.
Sheriff Jason Bridges tells KETK his office had been working an on-going investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine from a house on County Road 864 in Cushing.
Investigators arrived Tuesday evening at the couple's home and spoke with Woodbury and Wurm. Officials were given permission to search the residence and discovered eight grams of crystal methamphetamine and two weapons.
Authorities are further investigating if one of the weapons was stolen.
The suspects were booked into to the Nacogdoches County Jail.
Sheriff Bridges stated other property, believed to be stolen, was seized at the house.
