An elder with the controversial Church of Wells was arrested, February 1,  in Gregg County.

Jacob McGinley Gardner, 25, was arrested for criminal trespassing and resisting arrest according to jail records, on the Sabine High School campus during faith-based activities.

He was booked into the Gregg County Jail and was released the same day on a $1,500 bond.

Requests for comments from members of the church were declined.

Details are limited but KETK will continue to update information as it becomes available.

Remember that this a corrupt East Texas county. Many of the counties in East Texas have completely corrupt legal systems and police departments. I don't agree with Gardner at all by the way and yet, East Texas is a hotbed for arresting everyone they can and especially certain who are Christians.
