ETX bandit splits with log splitter

Lufkin, Tx — Crime Stoppers of Lufkin wants your help identifying a white male that is a suspect in the theft of a log splitter from a Lufkin business.
At approximately 5:00 PM Wednesday, February 05, 2014, security cameras at the business captured video of the suspect stealing the log splitter from a display area outside the business, located in the 4200 block of South Medford Drive in Lufkin.
Based upon the video, the suspect appears to be a white male with dark, short hair. At the time of this crime, the suspect wore a red jacket or coat, and blue jeans. The suspect drove a custom, high-roof Ford Econoline van. The van is a dark color, possible a dark red, with a light-color stripe, or several small stripes, around the sides and rear of the vehicle and aluminum running boards.
The stolen property is a Cub Cadet brand 25-ton, gas-powered log splitter with a 160cc Honda engine (Cub Cadet model number 24BF552B756). It is painted yellow and black, and designed to fold for towing behind a vehicle.
