ETX business loses more than $20K in oil due to vandals
Kilgore, Texas (KETK) — Sheriff Maxey Cerliano and the Gregg County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public's help in sovling acriminal mischief case in Kilgore.
On Sunday, April 6 at about 3:00 p.m., Gregg County Deputies responded to the Dyersdale Energy Lease off Highway 42 in Kilgore. Unknown persons intentionally dumped approximately 200 barrels of crude oil on the ground from a holding tank on the lease. The cost of the oil is in excess of $20,000. The cost of the clean-up of the site may likely exceed $50,000.00.
