A Nacogdoches man was arrested Thursday morning after police were called to an aggravated robbery.

William Fincher, 29, was arrested after his 69-year-old parent, who lives in the 300 block of Cooper Street, claims they were approached at gunpoint and tied their hands and legs together. Around 9:00 a.m.,  Fincher then took his parent's car, gun and credit card before leaving the scene.

About 30 minutes later, two Nacogdoches police officers on patrol located the stolen vehicle parked in a retail store parking lot. The officers then saw Fincher exiting the store and made the arrest.

Fincher was booked into the Nacogdoches County Jail and charged with aggravated robbery. No injuries were reported in this incident.
