ETX man arrested for punching disabled state-supported living center resident in face

Lufkin, Texas (KETK) —
An East Texas man was arrested Tuesday after allegedly punching a Lufkin State Supported Living Center resident in the face.
According to the Angelina County Sheriff's Office, Bradley Fondren, 24, of Lufkin, who is also a Lufkin State Living Center employee, is accused of punching a resident of the center multiple times in the face on Thursday, June 26, 2014. The disabled resident also wears a helmet, required by physicians.
Fondren was booked into the Angelina County Jail on Tuesday charged with injury to an elderly or disabled person.
He has since been released on bond.
